The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintains the National Sanctions List under Act No. 1/2023 Coll. (the Sanctions Act). The list targets individuals, entities and organizations involved in serious acts such as support for Russian aggression against Ukraine or human rights violations, including those not yet covered by EU sanctions. Designations are made by Government resolution and may impose asset freezes, financial restrictions and entry bans. The Financial Analytical Office (FAÚ) oversees domestic implementation, including asset-freezing measures. Each entry identifies the designated party, explains the conduct supporting the designation and specifies the applicable restrictions, publication date and listing status (valid, changed or revoked).
