Adverse Media Monitoring
What’s new
Monitoring is now available for Adverse Media for all API clients. Clients can register a list of names and receive ongoing updates whenever new Adverse Media is published about those individuals or entities.
How it works
Once a list of names are registered for Monitoring, Castellum.AI continuously screens them against new Adverse Media articles. Any newly surfaced or modified articles mentioning the monitored name will automatically trigger an update through your existing monitoring configuration. This brings Adverse Media fully into the perpetual-screening workflow many institutions already rely on for sanctions and PEPs.
What this means for you
- Always-on visibility into reputational risk. Stay ahead of emerging issues without manual checks or periodic pulls.
- Unified monitoring across risk domains. Apply the same monitoring logic across sanctions, PEPs and Adverse Media for a cohesive, automated workflow.
- Complete risk coverage. Capture media-driven risk indicators as soon as they surface so your controls reflect the most current information.
Delta Screening — Now Available in Platform
What’s new
Delta Screening is now supported directly in the Castellum.AI platform, meaning users can now run ad hoc and batch screens as of a specific date, returning only alerts for records that have been added or updated since the selected as of date.
How it works
When running a screen via the platform, you can specify an as of date. The platform will return alerts only for new or updated records within that timeframe. This allows you to perform incremental checks without reprocessing previously adjudicated alerts.
Use cases
- Reduce noise in workflows. Only review deltas instead of entire result sets. Avoid re-reviewing previously handled items and streamline large ad hoc or periodic review cycles.
- Target recent risk signals. Filter Adverse Media results to a defined time window. For example: view alerts only published since January 1, 2025.”
- Faster exam prep. Easily pull all updates for a specific list over the past week, month or year to demonstrate expected system behavior during audits or exams.
