The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) maintains a lists of entities and/or goods from a specific geographic origin if action is taken to detain goods at the US border when there is reason to believe that goods were produced using forced labor or other exploitative labor practices.
Entities subject to a Withhold Release Order (WRO) will have goods detained at the border if the CBP has credible reason to believe the goods are produced with forced labor pending further investigation and the closure of legal proceedings.
Withhold Release Finding (Findings) are issued if an investigation confirms that goods exported by an entity or within a geographic region are produced using forced labor. A finding similarly results in goods being detained at the US border.
