The State Department Section 353 List is a report that State Department is required to file with Congress annually covering corruption and undermining of democracy in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
The list is filed pursuant to Section 353(b) of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2021 (Div. FF, P.L. 116-260, as amended) (Section 353).
Persons listed on the list include those engaged in giving and taking bribes, stealing government resources and operating fake NGOs.
