Search Fields
There are currently four search fields which may be used to query our database: full name, ID, citizenship, and location. Using these fields can help reduce false positives and improve your results.
- Full name: search for the full name of a designated party.
- ID: search across any identifying information associated with a designated individual or entity as provided by the list source. This may include: digital currency wallet addresses, company registration number, tax number, passport number, driver's license number, and more.
- Citizenship: searches the identified citizenship of a individual as provided by the list source.
- Location: searches for locations associated with a listed individual or entity and may be based on place of birth, registered address, or other location-related information as provided by the list source.
For more information on how the use of multiple search fields can impact search results, see: Can I Search Multiple Criteria at Once?
Filter Fields
The filter fields are binary and set search parameters. Select these to narrow or broaden your search. Filters include: country, type, list source, and lists.
- Country: returns only results associated with a particular country.
- Type: returns only results for designee types (Individual, Entity, Aircraft, Vessel, or Location) as identified by list sources or enriched through Castellum.AI's data enrichment process.
- List Source: filters based on list categories or list sources. Search and select the list categories (e.g. Sanctions) or list sources (e.g. US OFAC SDN) to narrow searches.
- Lists: filter based on specific lists from each list source. Selecting specific lists will significantly narrow your search (for example, Selecting US OFAC SDN > Cuba will return results related to the Cuba sanctions program under the US Office of Foreign Assets Control).
Match Threshold
Select the threshold slider to select a score that works for your risk tolerance. A low threshold will return more results while a high threshold will reduce results and ensure matches closely align with your search field entries.
